VITAL SOCIETY. DISEASES. INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PATIENT AND DOCTOR

Prof. Dr.Chingiz ALIZADEH

Ch. Alizadeh: THE VITAL SOCIETY We live in non-simple times, during fundamental changes of the history. Previous values lose their currency and new ones, which have come from abroad, are not conscious yet. Usually scum and sludge go ahead of such a new wave, which easily find the outflow.
In our subjectivist world (by Sri Aurobindo) the society has faced (or it is being directed to this side) the problem of its development being turned back to barbarism. We have faced such a paradox (however this is a norm for a vital person) that a civilized, noble, intellectual, moral or religious person is not an example for imitation.
Nowadays a successful person with permanent desire to produce, sell, save and possess is the leader of the society. No matter which means have been used to reach that wealth at all. The main thing is to stick it out and show everyone that you are that kind of person.
This is how expensive cars, huge houses, luxury against pauperization of most of the population, abuse of moral as well as public laws, degeneration of the ‘golden’ youth appear and happen. All this is headed by one aim only – to satisfy one’s vital wants.
Sri Aurobindo said that the point of this barbarism lies in a rush for vital success and pleasure, desire for productivity, accumulation, possession, delight, comfort, convenience for their sake only. But let everyone not forget that the history does remember such ‘diseases’. And if those are not treated in time - fatal outcome may occur. The history has examples of not only disintegration and disappearance of some cities and nations but the whole empires as well.
The point from where the negative energy comes must be destroyed. But Allah sends many signals and creates many possibilities to improve the situation. And we all must realise that. Special mission lies on doctors’ shoulders who are first in facing tendencies associated with ill-being of the society, in other words with diseases.
No one knows wherever they come from. It is doubtful whether scientists’ attempts, with their modern equipment, will contribute to this. According to legend – ancient Jews had a book where it was written why this or that disease is sent from above to the human being.
But once the elders have gathered and destroyed that book. It is obvious that the process of disease, its clinical course and outcomes do not depend only on knowledge and skills of the doctor but on a state of soul of the patient as well. Every time when a person gets sick – this is the result of chaos in soul, incorrect state of spirit. The human being consists of body, intellect and soul. And if the first two components refer to the material world and the function of substance (conventionally), then the soul (which is given by Allah) is not the material substance. Disbalance between the components causes the disease.
Having taken this axiom for the basis, the doctor faces a very serious problem – not only to diagnose a disease and its symptoms, define a correct method of its treatment but the most important one is to clarify its reason to a patient. It is necessary to make a patient a participant of the recovery process. No one can look into patients’ state of mind better than a patient himself.
It is necessary to always remember that the doctor does not cure the patient. He is only a tool in Allah’s hands. Thus, the treatment process must be not so much physical as spiritual recovery of the patient. The patient must be explained that the source of his disease is inside him which is the state of his mind (to be more exact, of chaos). The intelligent doctor should aspire for creation of balance in the soul and mind of the patient and change of his attitude not only towards the disease but to the whole world as well. This means that the doctor is not only the healer of the body but the soul as well.
The doctor should ensure that in the soul of each cured patient things are prioritised in the right way so that the patient would realise that the disease is ‘a warning’ sent from above. He should make the patient understand that his spiritual state affects deeply not only his physical state but the state of visual environment as well. Otherwise we risk getting ‘unknown diseases’ as the society, the mankind and the whole world are interconnected between each other. You cannot live thinking that if you are fine you have nothing to do with the surrounding world. You should aspire for standing over the vital barbarian thinking to mental and supramental thinking, in other words to accomplish the mission for which Allah has sent us to this world. We have come out of It and we must go back into It.

Vital Society. Diseases.
Interrelationship between patient and doctor
.
Prof. Dr.Chingiz Alizadeh

We live in non-simple times, during fundamental changes of the history.
Material and spiritual values of the society are being changed.
Disbalance between state of the body and soul leads the disease.
The intelligent doctor should aspire for creation of balance in the soul and mind of the patient and change of his attitude not only towards the disease but to the whole world as well. This means that the doctor is not only the healer of the body but the soul as well.
Everything is this world created by Allah is interconnected. And each person cured physically as well as spiritually will contribute to its improvement.
